Song signed us up for cooking class heh first class was yesterday and it was super fun!! Made 3 dishes in 3 hours! Can't remember the name of the dishes in Thai..but we made dried curry pork, claypot prawns tang hoon and roasted rice chicken salad...all damn nice!! Heh heh heh

Can't wait for the 2nd one next week! Oh btw, this is a 6 weeks course... Heh

celebrated mummy's birthday at imperial (mbs) after work last Tuesday...she loves Chinese food and imperial fine dining sure does a mean one...so kor suggested we go there...song joined us for dinner too.. felt quite bad coz we ordered quite a lot...and song went to pay for dinner sneakily....thank you for dinner!! :) think my parents were super touched...heh

super yummy peking duck...k actually i don't eat the skin lar...i only eat the duck meat with the wrap, cucumber and sweet sauce..heh but it sure looked damn delicious...

Dinner at Mortons

Saturdays dinner was too shiok! Had my fill of totally awesome beef till I comatose before dinner ended..no pics of the food..but the group of 10 ordered 2 primes..1 strip loin..1 fillet mignon..1 Cajun ribeye and 1 normal ribeye..the primes were about 5-600 grams each..and the rest were at least 300 grams and above..we also had 3 sides, one salad and 2 desserts shared among the 10 of us..it's damn a lot!!

Only gripe was the doneness of the beef..I'm a medium-very-well to well-done person..and the group favors medium-rare to medium..so yar that's my only gripe.. :)

For those who haven't been there and are thinking of going..one main is good for 2 people actually... :)

Witnessed 2 very distinctly different scene that night...one was super sweet when a guy proposed to his girlfriend and the crowd applauded with aplomb... The other was a girl in her car digging her nose and then eating her own booger!!! Oh my freaking goodness right?!?! So damn gross lor!! Haha

suckling pig and roast duck..didn't take a lot of picture coz i was already in food coma after the soup...whole day of feasting makes one super sluggish by the end of the day...

Unceasing Fruitfulness

May the coming year(s) be one of unceasing fruitfulness for all of us! CNY visiting is a tiring affair for me though I wasn't really doing anything besides eating, sitting, collecting ang paos, playing mahjong, chatting, snacking and more eating...I actually felt drained after one whole day of doing that..signs of age-ing..

Haven't really been spending quality time with Song since december coz we have been so busy..and he went Bangkok with his family since Friday for this cny..I miss him....but he's coming back tonight! :) hope the coming months will be better..and looking forward to our cooking class from 13th feb onwards! :)

Brunch with song's family on a Saturday..Supposed to be brunching at Torte's but ended up at Loola's after a mixed up..but it was a pleasant mistake coz everything about Loola's held up and everyone was so pleased after brunch..

Food was great and place was comfortably bright with the warmth of sun shining into the restaurant..it's a totally enjoyable brunching experience and I really felt refreshed dining there..totally loving and much preferred brightly lit places for brunch...wild honey at mandarin gallery serves awesome brunch but the place almost always makes me feel like sleeping even prior to having the food served..heh

Eggs ben and the karubi beef are must try..my souffle omelette was good but the portion was wayyyyyy too huge and beyond my ability to finish it..squid was interesting and heard the beer mussels were awesome especially the toast.. :) would definitely go back again..

Finally there for afternoon tea with Charz after hearing so much about it from her..quaint and cosy little place with a conducive enough ambience for a good read... Would love to waste a lazy afternoon there, flipping magazines, newspaper or just sit and stone or watch cars passing by...

Food was alright..palatable and not much complains..only gripe was that the strawberry shortcake and azuki cupcake was a little too coarse and grainy for my liking...but could be my own preference of favoring light and airy texture for my strawberry shortcake..coz Charz was perfectly fine with it.. :)

Tucked in this quiet little part of heartland, it's a breath of fresh air for coffee lovers or indie coffeehouse enthusiasts..

feasting my way through the last of 2011 to the beginning of 2012...how great is that?!? it's cliche..but i'm really thankful for every little thing i have...thankful for my loved ones ...thankful for the sweet and always lovable friends i have...thankful for able to do what i love...2011 had been quite ok for me...but a year to forget for some..praying 2012 will be a better one for everyone!

there's really no point in making resolutions i feel, since i almost always not keep any..but i really pray that i will grow closer to God...that i will persevere in going church and staying throughout the service every sunday...pray for God's blessing to be on all my loved ones...family and friends...that all shall be blessed be good health and favour aplenty..that God will guide us through smoothly...

so, it was dim sum with song and his family at royal china in the afternoon on new year's eve...food was so so only...nothing great...actually thought imperial or crystal jade and paragon fared better...was quite disappointed after hearing raved reviews of this place...

took a nap after dim sum and parents left me at home and went out with their friends after mum's failed attempt in trying to wake me up... heh initial plan was to spend it with them...but was left stranded at home...so song asked me to join his family for dinner at flutes...changed and tried calling cab at about 8 odd 9...and there was no cab!! k lar but still managed to get one after about 20 mins of trying...

and who knows somebody tried to steal my cab outside my house!! thank goodness the cab driver called to verify if i called the cab for my "customer"?? and i was like "NO?!! WHAT CUSTOMER?!?" could hear the cab driver screaming at him to get off his cab...haha really thank goodness coz usually they don't verify with their passenger right? the most they do is just ask if they are so and so and off they drove...super thankful!!

reached flutes and song was nice to wait for me at the drop off point...the moment i got off the cab...the valet attendant who was mending his turf said in disdain "oh..this one ah..not that one ah" ..curious..i asked song what he was talking about...and OMG...apparently...one lady wearing a red dress alighted before me and she, in song's opinion was quite hot....damn ouch right!! "oh...this one ah...not that one ah" ...so bleh one...haha ok lar...was quite funny i admit... never mind...i'll let you all laugh at me since it's the new year...

Nepal 2011 Day 3 (Kathmandu)

2nd day was spent in transit and we only arrived at Kathmandu quite late..so no photos... we were ready to explore Kathmandu after a well rested night...stayed at this budget "hotel" (Hotel Garuda) which was about USD 25 per night...nothing to shout about except for the great service and the location...it was right at the heart of Thamal (the holland village of Kathmandu).. so really no complains...

it wasn't that cold actually..but sreyh wasnt feeling well about half our trip..having bouts of fever and all sorts of flu symptoms..so she was well covered up...poor thing...

this was mine...we ate damn well every meal lar!! thought we would lose weight...but we ended up pilling on weight in Nepal!! :(

Nepal 2011 Day 1 (Delhi in Transit)

so we finally arrived in Delhi after a dramatic flight (we thought somebody died on the plane! pilot even appealed for doctor on board to help...turned out she only fainted because of air sickness??!! damn scary ok! coz she was just seated 2 rows down) luggage issues (sreyh's mum had about 4 luggage for us to hand over to her relatives in Delhi and we didn't know that the airport ground staff checked all our baggage to Nepal! And they are massively overweight! imagine our shock! but the staffs in Delhi were nice enough to help us check them out), visa issues (lazy to explain heh). But all went well...and we reached Delhi safely...

Last "marathon" for the year

Sounds damn cool right...actually I only did 10km jog/walk the previous 2 times and the one I'm going for tomorrow is a 5km kids dash.. Haha don't scoff k! My goal is to jog and not walk the entire 5..all the children running along will definitely be a motivator for me..least they think this old woman is damn loser or something..5km also cannot run..bleh

Dad and brother gonna be doing their first 42km! Hope they complete this safely!! Pray that the Lord will bless them with the perfect condition to sail through this..Amen

Find it damn cute that my family is participating..dad, mum, brother, ruby, cousin and her hubby as well ad 6th aunt and uncle...Events as such are perfect for family bonding and definitely looking forward to more of such...love family bonding sessions!!

Hopefully the sun will show mercy on us all especially my dad and brother...And me of coz!! Haha for the million-nth time..I don't wanna get tanned!!!! Or tanner!! Already a few shades darker after rafting in Nepal..boohoo

Anyway..feeling rather empty these days...feels quite sad that I'm not doing anything meaningful? in my existence?...everything I'm doing now doesn't seem to mean anything at all...sigh..better see if I can sign myself up for some courses or start volunteering again...don't like this feeling at all...

Acrylic painting with parents & Wakeboarding

wake-boarding on a sunday left me with aching muscles till now...4 days already my muscles still feel very sore...must have been the long 3 month hiatus....didn't manage to jump this time around and i'm super sad...want to go again!! went with sreyh and eric this time around coz the rest of them decided to dump us last min..tsk..charz with her safra run..jinhan with his dad's celebration...yong with his company event..and minz her period...tsk tsk

3 hours for 3 people is really no joke...my hands were wobbling by my 2nd round...almost felt like letting go a couple of times...but....no regrets despite all the pain and turning about 3 shades darker after the grueling session...if only there's indoor wake-boarding...i'll definitely go every week haha

come monday...went for my very first acrylic painting class with parents...super fun!! me and dad both damn greedy....chose a large canvas stupidly...can't finish in the 3 hr session and gotta go back again on monday to try finish it...haha mum's painting turned out gorgeous!! she did free hand on one small square of canvas with the teacher guiding her along the way...she was so proud of it after she was done lar...

cousin brought me to this place for an ice cold drink after we braved the sun walking over from raffles hotel lugging 16 boxes of mooncakes...

it's call cat's socrates located at bras basah complex level 3...a whimsical little shop selling all sorts of quirky trinkets...paper materials...disposable cameras...books...cds...vintage clothes etc...

quite a nice little place....they don't serve food...only bottled drinks and coffee and tea... :) and doesn't have many seating area....so either go on a weekday if you want to chill and read a book or 2 there? or go there to shop and immerse yourself with their shopfull of whimsical products..i'm sure you'll love it... :)

Signs of ageing....

been using hair tonic for almost a month now...it may be psychological, but i think it's working heh hair feels slightly thicker already.... (chants to self..."it's working...it's working) hair stylist was telling me my hair has been thinning during my last visit.... :( i guess i've always realized how my hair is not as thick and "volumized" as previously...the thick pony tail i used to have has become a thin and pathetic one whenever i tie it up...it's only upon her telling me that got me really worried....

she told me and charz that there's no cure for this hair thinning problem...the only way is the slow down the process of it.....figured it will be better if i start taking care of my scalp now to prevent further damage....so i've been spraying the hair tonic on my scalp after every wash and before i blow dry my hair religiously....it's already a habit instilled over the past month which is good for me....just that i'll be more broke, now that i have to spend on hair treatment that doesn't even take away the problem but only slow it down....how great is that....

and this is not all...i've been noticing fine lines around my eye area....more visible eye bags...and slightly darken color around my eye... :( this is really depressing.....so now besides spraying hair tonic after every wash...i've been trying to make it a habit to apply essence on my entire face....just hoping it doesn't get any worse already....

for those who are interested...i'm using red:juvenus intense vitalizing concentrate for the face and system hinoki for my scalp...

do let me know if there are any better products for hair thinning problems and fine lines/dark eye circles/eye bags alright? will really appreciate it... :)

this whole hair thinning thingy has been making me think twice about coloring my hair and perming my fringe... color of my hair is really hideous right now with all the out-grown....somebody help please!! want to color but so scared also... how??

after church... went for brunch with charz on a lazy sunday...located at tanjong pagar... (50 craig road to be exact) it was quietly nice on a sunday afternoon....anyway...it's an indie coffee place that serves all day breakfast (mainly poached eggs and sourdough).. of coz they have other what's not..but these are the 2 mostly used ingredients... heh

loving the place....the grey washed walls is absolute love...funny thing is it exudes a sense of coziness even against the "cemented walls"...simple and minimalist chic is what i love most about the decor....

as for the food...i really can't decide if i liked it or not....i had what they called the darling's eggs i.e. poached eggs with ham, cheese & roma tomatoes on sourdough toast...the cheese tasted a bit too overwhelming on my first bite...but it tasted totally fine and somewhat delicious after my 3rd bite? took a sip of my coffee to clear my palette...took another mouthful....it tasted weird again...BUT...totally alright after another few mouthfuls?? so weird right?? haha charz had their dean's breakfast...poached eggs on melted cheese & vegemite sourdough toasts..didn't try coz i don't really like vegemite on toast...but she said it was yummy!

so i'll definitely go back again to have my mind made up... heh coffee wise...i much preferred the ones at jones (mandarin gallery branch) thicker and stronger for my liking... :)

Kor's 30th at Hide Yamamoto + Rockandretail (Sponsored Review)

dinner at Hide Yamamoto located at mbs to celebrate brother's 30th birthday...he's been wanting to try every time we have meals at Imperial Treasure which was just opposite it...so dinner it was at Hide Yamamoto...you can choose to have either teppanyaki, ramen, or sushi and sashimi there....they have quite a wide range there... :)

dinner was totally amazing and delicious! even the simplest vegetable grilled and then serve with some dash of salt can taste so sweet and heavenly! all of us were thoroughly enjoying every single dish that was presented to us....not all for me coz i don't eat sushi and sashimi... heh (no seaweed or raw fish/meat for me)... but i was really blown away by the grilled veg especially! we had so much food that night! all of us except my brother who was driving, concussed in the car right after dinner....

atas place...but the servers and chefs were all smile and gave no airs of sort....i've come across those with just that kind of attitude and absolutely abhor it..... the chef was so nice to get me specially made sweet omelette without seaweed after being told i don't take seaweed....pricey dinner...but it was well worth it.... :)

brought our 大姑妈 dad's eldest sister along for dinner that night...think she really enjoyed herself and was superbly happy coz she was all smiles and laughter that night...she seldom smile that much usually, whenever we go over to my late grandpa's place... so we were all glad she did that night...

the table setting was really wide and long...i was seated right at the end and was so far away from my parents! I was the photographer that night...so no pics of me... heh

think this was tuna liver...i didn't take it...coz i don't like fish liver or liver of any sorts...heh but it looked pretty darn yummy....

the fresh sashimi...which i didn't take as well... heh but dad said the umi=sea uchin was super sweet!

toro...tuna belly... don't know how it taste like...but it looked damn fatty and yummy... looked at the marbling...wish this was a piece of wagyu beef man....

truffles chawanmushi...was told to stir to infuse the chawanmushi with the flavours of truffles hidden beneath...truffles taste was really overpowering...though it was damn fragrant....i very much preferred the normal chawanmushi.... heh or maybe they put too much truffles in the tiny little chawanmushi...if it was bigger portion...it would be gorgeous....

OMG!!! this was totally AMAZING!!!! never knew vegetable could taste so gooooooood!!!! it really was the best grilled vegetable i've tasted to date!!! craving for another portion of it just looking at it now..... can you see the amount of truffles they put on the veg???

bacon wrap asparagus with tomato salsa sauce...mad yummy can!! and it doesn't feel fatty at all when i eat it! (I don't take fatty meat in generally, i most definitely don't take bacon or 3 layer pork or chicken skin) but this amazing bacon was not fatty at all!!

sushi and my special egg omelette...

chasiu ramen....this tasted really goooodd.....love how Q the ramen was...and how delicious the soup tasted! it was so good i actually finished the soup (i usally don't)....rich and smooth without any porkish taste to it...

ordered extra egg for myself.... heh

gyoza...right amount of crisp and juiciness!!!

wagyu beef.... by then we were too full to enjoy the sweetness and oiliness of the wagyu...but it was so good too!!

my brother's rice cake at the end... he wanted to try if it was nicer here or at yakinikutei ao chan...didn't try it so i don't know heh

and my dessert....they call it tiger's path...coz they mixed the yuzu ice cream with sesame ice cream together and it looked like tiger to them..heh with tofu cheesecake by the side.....

the orange blob on top of the tofu cheesecake was this jelly like thingy with yuzu sauce in it...have to poke it to let it flow over the tofu cheesecake

and i finished every bit of it even though i was super full by then.....

look at her tummy... heh...i think it runs in the family....

Rockandretail (Review)

OMG! Rockandretail has finally launched their Freewheel Urban Tunic! I actually received this in Klein Blue from Rockandretail a while back now...and have been eagerly anticipating their launch ever since. as I've been wanting to share just how amazing this top is!

First of all, it is a multi-way top you can get to achieve a variety of style just by pairing with either shorts (if you want to go casual), bandage skirts or pants (for the working ladies) or skinnies (for a clubbing night).

Second of all, the lightweight polyester/silk blend made it such a darling for the super hot weather we have in sg right now....my cousin has been asking me when Rockandretail will be launching ever since she saw it...hehe so these are just a few of the many reasons why i think this top is such a good deal to have.... :)

I have tried it both ways...paired it with my red wine mahogany shorts for a photo-shoot 1 month ago...and paired it with my bandage skirt to experiment another look for work...and you know what? I loved both looks to the max! Not sure about you...but i think Freewheel Urban Tunic made me look quite sexy when i paired it with my bandage skirt!??! It actually made my butt look perkier than usual because of the peplum effect it gave...I was thinking to myself ...OMG...i actually have perky butt??!!?? And i swear i didn't deliberately push my butt out for that!

Looking at their launch pics right now made me realised it looks really nice when tucked into shorts and cigarette pants too! And I seriously can't wait to wear it like how the model wore in their photo-shoots!

Chose the one in Klein Blue because i was drawn to the electric shade of blue....but if you're not a fan of blue...you can take your pick out of 3 other gorgeous colors...

Rockandretail is also launching another super adoring dress! Colorblock Flounce Dress in 2 yummy colors! Sea Green/Persimmon and Coral/Sea Green...And it is only going at $23.00!! Both colors are so pretty i really wouldn't know which to pick if you were to ask me! Coz i can totally see myself in both colors, either having coffee with the girls or rocking this summer at the botanical gardens! I know some of you all will be cracking your heads deciding which to get, because i will too! I'm going to Nepal!!!

FINALLY!! the girls have been "planning" for our nepal trip since about 4 years ago i think!!?? if i don't remember wrongly...we were talking about this at borders bistro after celebrating clara's birthday.....fast forward 4 years later....we finally got down to actually booking and confirming our air tix this morning!! (kz...technically we booked on sat....but the site/agency were giving us trouble...long story and saving my breath for other things) so yeap...2 weeks in NEPAL with the GIRLS!!! whoohooo!!! i seriously can't wait!!

chris tea house with charz and sreyh on a saturday....not a very pleasant experience i would say....not that the food was awful, servers weren't attentive or non-conducive place for tea ....on the contrary...the scones were one of the best i've had....soft and buttery the way i love it....servers were pleasant and helpful to whatever requests we had...place was really pretty! but the little laminated rules they plastered/stuck all over their walls/menus were seriously a put off!!! i understand it's your shop and you have rules...but seriously? $80 to use your electricity is a bit too much right? that's not all...no files and papers on the table???? 9 and below kids not welcomed?? you're just driving your customers away.... because i knew i was never going back again...i had to order one more scone just to satisfy greedy me....

took some pictures even though "No Photography" was plastered all over as well? well...not exactly no photography...according to some laminated rules...you can rent the place on an hourly basis to take pictures!!

pics were taken discreetly initially...but we saw some other customers snapping pictures openly in full view of the servers and they didn't say anything...so we started snapping as well.... heh

you can use..but you gotta pay....$80 at that...

the whole cafe has got only 2 menus...they had 3 initially...but 1 got lost....when asked why there were only 3 menus to begin with....servers answered that coz the menus were really difficult to make....how is a photo album with laminated pages difficult to make? hmmm i really wonder....

but they've got really pretty tea sets!!

poor thing...gotta wake up early for a volunteering session...such nice soul right??!!

almost weekly church/brunch/tea on sunday with charz....heh such indulgence after church right...the morning rain made me feel so lazy and sleepy the entire day! add in a afternoon nap and my sunday would have been perfect! morning rain/church/brunch/tea/afternoon naps....aahhhh how nice right? but no...not enough time to slot in a nap...heh so we had brunch at oriole...and tea at a thai cafe in wisma... tried to change the size of this mj shirt i got for song...but they didn't allow... :( their exchange policy is a within 3 days one and i'm 3 days later... :( sighz...y??

brought him to dinner at salt grill, located on level 55 at ion...place was so pretty and the view was amazing....fireworks at the USS was within sight at one moment....so pretty!! didn't bring my bulky cam and the place was too dark for my iphone to capture any pretty pics... :( only have a few pics of the food and place which all turned out too dark and grainy... bleh...but it's really a place worth going for the awesome view and the food which was pretty good...just don't order the truffle mash potato...heh too thick for our liking...

they have this really cool machine where you can use to have a better view of the surroundings...both still and live shots...you can see pedestrians walking on the road etc...but no..you can't see what people are doing in the apartments...haha we tried...but it was too blur...

simple one this year...brought him for brunch and dinner...didn't want it to be a mad rush like last year where we did brunch at prive11am, collected cake at jalan kayu 2pm...brought the cake to my house...rushed for a play at drama centre 3pm...and dinner at sentosa 7pm here http://flowersandbrooches.blogspot.com/2010/08/birthday.html ...totally crazy right?? think i must be thinking it is good if the whole day was all planned out with activities...haha what a plan right? we were exhuasted after that lor! so no more mad rush this year...shall do it slow...and relaxing... heh

went for bunch at flutes at the fort...where we had ginormous brunch...we had their 2 course brunch menu (one main and one dessert + coffee)...good food, huge portions and nice ambiance...super worth it for the price we're paying...lazy to caption heh...

my egg's ben..very well done with oozy egg... heh super can't stand it if restaurant can't get poached egg right...but this is done just right!

mushrooms...a little blend for me...but tasted super fresh!

song's wagyu beef burger...i find the beef a little hard... :( but the taste is really good!! hmm do let the servers know to take note of the done-ness if you order this...

Crazy shoes spree

just bought 3 pairs of heels, one from steve maddens and 2 from nine west...mixed feelings coz they were the last pairs for all 3 of them... :( so one side of all 3 of them were slightly dirty... :( can't complain coz they were on sale...50% to be exact...so average about $120 each? which is ooooookkkk i guess for steve madden's and nine west's shoes right?? (please agree with me) heh

happy!! weekend is here soon!! will be celebrating song's birthday with him this coming saturday...a simple affair this time around and told him we will be eating throughout the day! hope he likes it...haha can't reveal more already....

Epic Bimbo Moment

why oh why am i so bimbotic at times i totally embarrassed myself...boohoo was using my iphone while walking and trying to take out the car keys from my bag at the same time in the morning, after having breakfast at sin ming coffeeshop with mummy when i accidentally dropped my keys on a drain (super long sentence)...

for a very brief moment...the keys hung on to its "dear life" on the edge of those drain railings? and just when i was about to bent down to grab the keys, it totally just slipped in between the railings right in front of my eyes.... i literally just screamed "AHHHHHHHH" in a super high pitch screech.... actually the very first thought that made me scream was coz it was super gross....the drain is wet with dunno what lar...and i had to pick it up with my hands....how to get it out was the secondary issue at hand....(.... i really cannot belief myself)

so everyone at the coffeeshop and those walking towards the coffeeshop turned and looked at me and mummy....and i just stood there...frozen...and staring at the keys now lying on the slightly wet and gross ground underneath the drain railings (i really don't know what they are call)...this little boy (about 9-10) who was walking towards the coffeeshop took at quick look....didn't say anything...bent down immediately... trying to pull up the railings with me just looking on....think i was too shocked to react still...after seeing him do that...i thought to myself "oh my goodness...you dumbo...this little boy really made you look like a bimbo!"

and so i bent down and tried to lift it up with him...but cannot....coz it was 3 pieces of those very thick and heavy ones welded together and there was no way anyone could lift it up...most uncles came to try but failed miserably...in the end it was one uncle who came with a cane and hook the keys up for me...haha super funny...and yeap...i washed the keys with soap and water even though it had batteries inside... well done lisi.....well done...sighz...

so anywayz...i had my shoot today...though it was a mere 2 hours studio shoot...i was super drained after that....how do people even do outdoor shoots that most often than not take more than 2 hours??? nothing but total salute and admiration for them seriously......took almost 500 pics this time round...hope i can finish editing the pictures soon.... :)

now for some otd on a lazy saturday...i totally forgot to apply mascara again!!! this time to orchard!!! big sighz... :(((

The Crazy Things I Do

sometimes i really really really think i'm crazy...i sit on/in pipi's new bed and pretended to be him for a min...even made my mum take a picture of me with my hands in a paw-begging position, head tilted to one side and my tongue sticking out...haha of coz i'm not so crazy to upload and display my insanity works to you all... heh

crazy enough to ask the maid of this house quite near my estate if she can sell me 2 green papayas... heh my mum was with me yes...but it was me who actually braved up to press the door bell and asked....the Lord says "ask and it shall be given to you freely" and true enough....i got 2 huge green papayas for free! happy!! and yeap...mum made soup for me...haha it was damn funny coz the maid told us she needed to ask her sir first...and made us stand in the sun for a good 10 mins... was thinking it must have been totally weird for her to ask her sir...i imagine the conversation to be like that....

Maid: "Sir...2 women outside house...want to buy 2 green papayas...."

Sir: (woken up by helper from afternoon nap) huh? buy 2 papayas???!!?? give them lar! (thinking to himself that there must be 2 flat chested woman outside his house now)

damn funny right? heh kz....digressing...went for dinner with mummy and song earlier...loving the cze char at this coffeeshop at keong saik street....think the name is Guo Chen or somthing...it's just beside this very famous coffee shop Tung Ya....i actually tried both cze char from these 2 coffeeshop....but prefers the one at Guo Chen....Tung Ya's one tasted er....more...rustic?? anyway Tung Ya is famous for their coffee i think.. heh.. we actually had 4 dishes...but forgot to take the last one...but the last dish (hong shao tofu) wasn't that nice also...so it's okie... heh

fell in love again when i received in the mail...made of structured but slightly stretchable cotton, this piece really frames your figure properly! you know there are some tops/dresses that just makes everyone looks good despite how different they are framed and proportioned? by everyone i meant both the really boney or the slightly bigger build ones.... and this is one of those tops! like what i said previously, it frames you nicely because of the material (structured but stretchable cotton)....yet at the same time, it allows you to adjust just how tight or loose you want it to be because of the corset tie design at the back? ingenious!!

ok...you got me...that is just the name of the event haha...i only did 10k today...and i did it bad.... haha i only managed to last 3 songs from my sundown play list (did the play list just for my sundown marathon)...walked the rest of it...put myself to shame i tell you... my aunt who's like in her 50s ran the entire 10km....didn't stop at all...even my uncle who's in his 60s finished before me...aunt clocked in at 1hr20mins...my uncle at 1hr30mins...and me 1hr40mins... haha mummy and ruby clocked in at 2hrs...they walked throughout larz...coz ruby wasn't feeling well and mummy can't run for nuts....

father and brother actually did the 21km this time round....*applause* they damn brave larz...never train at all and go run just like that...and of coz timing wont be good...brothers at 2hr30mins and dad at 3hr10mins....bumped into my mum's nephew (my cousin? we call him kor kor..but he's like in his 40s already) and he finished the run in 1 hr 30 mins!!! *APPLAUSE* he was one of the top 10 for 21km category...so zai right??

anyway...i've decided i'm going to change my standard chart run to 5km instead...and father's changing his from 42km to maybe a 10km... praying very hard they let us change even though charz says cannot change according to their faq... :((( *pray very hard*

kz...time to go study for course exam already....exam's on monday and tuesday... :(((
